Fun Creative Kindergarten is a non-profit-making kindergarten in Sai Kung, founded in 2013 and offering a local curriculum. The school follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide with a child-centred curriculum that includes life-oriented learning, sensory exploration and games. Community resources are used to enrich and improve the curriculum. Teaching adopts life-oriented themes and an integrated model, helping children observe, analyse, predict, compare, solve problems and apply knowledge through play and varied activities. Out-of-school visits, performances, competitions and community exchanges broaden children's experience. Assessment includes theme assessment, comprehensive growth assessment and observation. The school aims to stimulate imagination and support balanced all-round development.

School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity

Mission: The school aims to support children's holistic development, nurture good character and positive values, inspire curiosity, creativity and active learning, encourage healthy physical and emotional growth, and prepare children for lifelong learning and future growth.

Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, is child-centred and aligned with children's development, encourages exploration and hands-on learning, and incorporates music, arts and physical activities. Learning is supported through thematic teaching, play-based exploration, and outdoor activities, visits and field trips. Children's progress is assessed through ongoing observation and theme or unit assessments.

Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through gradual adaptation or orientation activities for new children, Primary One transition preparation, mock activities or school visits, language support, including help for non-Chinese speaking children where needed, a safe, caring and attentive learning environment, and practical assistance for families in need. It maintains close home-school partnership through meetings, parent days and individual interviews, class observations, open days or school visits, parenting seminars, talks and workshops, parent-child activities, outings and school events, and parent volunteer teams, groups or associations.
