CPC Green Pasture Kindergarten is a non-profit-making kindergarten in the Islands District, founded in 1997 and offering a local curriculum. The school integrates the Education Bureau's six learning areas through themes, projects, collaborative picture-book learning, play and exploration, supporting moral, cognitive, language, aesthetic, social, physical and spiritual development. Teaching includes Putonghua and English exposure, discussion, role play, games, outings, art and character education. School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity

Mission: Guided by Christian values, the school aims to guide our children to develop healthy living habits and positive character traits, aiming to nurture their whole-person development and upholding the Christian spirit of love and care, we foster a love of learning in children.

Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, organizes learning around life-related themes, integrates the six learning areas, and includes project-based inquiry. Learning is supported through play-based exploration, role play and creative expression, music, movement, art and physical activities, and experiments, discovery and STEAM activities. Children's progress is assessed through ongoing observation, theme or unit assessments, learning portfolios, and parent-teacher communication.

Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through gradual adaptation or orientation activities for new children, Primary One transition preparation, mock activities or school visits, social worker, counselling or referral services, and language support, including help for non-Chinese speaking children where needed. It maintains close home-school partnership through class observations, open days or school visits, parenting seminars, talks and workshops, parent-child activities, outings and school events, and parent volunteer teams, groups or associations.
