Chinese International School

Chinese International School is a non-profit-making international school in the Eastern District offering a non-local curriculum. CIS provides a bilingual and intercultural education from Reception to Year 13, with Chinese (Mandarin) and English used as languages of instruction. In the Primary School, each homeroom is led by native Chinese and native English teaching partners who plan and facilitate learning collaboratively. The programme supports flexible groupings, differentiation, independent and cooperative learning, positive education, and cultures of thinking. Learning areas include Chinese, English, mathematics, music, physical education and inquiry-based integrated studies. CIS emphasises student agency, well-being, sustainability, intercultural understanding and lifelong learning.
