School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity
Mission: The school aims to support children's holistic development, encourage healthy physical and emotional growth, and cultivate appreciation of life, culture and the arts.
Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, organizes learning around life-related themes, develops creativity, thinking and problem-solving skills, and cultivates positive values and character. Learning is supported through thematic teaching, play-based exploration, and outdoor activities, visits and field trips. Children's progress is assessed through ongoing observation and learning portfolios.
Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through gradual adaptation or orientation activities for new children and Primary One transition preparation, mock activities or school visits. It maintains close home-school partnership through meetings, parent days and individual interviews, parent-child activities, outings and school events, parent volunteer teams, groups or associations, and newsletters, surveys, home visits or resource sharing.
