School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity
Mission: The school aims to support children's holistic development, nurture good character and positive values, encourage healthy physical and emotional growth, prepare children for lifelong learning and future growth, and cultivate appreciation of life, culture and the arts.
Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, supports holistic development, and incorporates music, arts and physical activities. Learning is supported through thematic teaching, project inquiry, storytelling and picture books, and role play and creative expression. Children's progress is assessed through continuous assessment, learning portfolios, and parent-teacher communication.
Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through Primary One transition preparation, mock activities or school visits, social worker, counselling or referral services, and enrichment, interest-class and life-wide learning opportunities. It maintains close home-school partnership through class observations, open days or school visits, parenting seminars, talks and workshops, parent-child activities, outings and school events, and parent volunteer teams, groups or associations.
