School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity
Mission: The school aims to provide the knowledge and skills learned in the Montessori environment help children become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and lifelong learners and support the child in developing his own will, giving him the opportunity to work independently and to make his own choices.
Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a bilingual local curriculum based on Montessori principles that organizes learning around life-related themes, encourages exploration and hands-on learning, and builds independence, confidence and self-care. Learning is supported through thematic teaching, music, movement, art and physical activities, experiments, discovery and STEAM activities, and bilingual English and Chinese experiences. Children's progress is assessed through progress reports.
