School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity
Mission: The school aims to 'Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.' (Proverbs 22:.
Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, integrates the six learning areas, encourages exploration and hands-on learning, and develops creativity, thinking and problem-solving skills. Learning is supported through play-based exploration, experiments, discovery and STEAM activities, and bilingual English and Chinese experiences. Children's progress is assessed through ongoing observation, theme or unit assessments, and progress reports.
Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through Primary One transition preparation, mock activities or school visits and social worker, counselling or referral services. It maintains close home-school partnership through parent volunteer teams, groups or associations.
