School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity
Mission: Guided by Christian values, the school aims to provide a safe, caring and joyful learning environment and support children's holistic development.
Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, organizes learning around life-related themes, integrates the six learning areas, and develops creativity, thinking and problem-solving skills. Learning is supported through play-based exploration and storytelling and picture books. Children's progress is assessed through ongoing observation and learning portfolios.
Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through Primary One transition preparation, mock activities or school visits, social worker, counselling or referral services, individual observation, assessment and guidance, and enrichment, interest-class and life-wide learning opportunities. It maintains close home-school partnership through meetings, parent days and individual interviews, parenting seminars, talks and workshops, parent-child activities, outings and school events, parent volunteer teams, groups or associations, and newsletters, surveys, home visits or resource sharing.
