School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity

Mission: The school aims to nurture students to attain development in the domains of ethics, intellect, physique, social skills and aesthetics and inspire children to be creative and we develop their personal potential.

Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum based on HighScope active learning that builds independence, confidence and self-care, cultivates positive values and character, and incorporates music, arts and physical activities. Learning is supported through play-based exploration, group and small-group activities, and outdoor activities, visits and field trips. Children's progress is assessed through learning portfolios.

Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through gradual adaptation or orientation activities for new children, social worker, counselling or referral services, professional support for children with diverse learning or developmental needs, and enrichment, interest-class and life-wide learning opportunities. It maintains close home-school partnership through class observations, open days or school visits, parent-child activities, outings and school events, and parent volunteer teams, groups or associations.
