SA Tin Ping Nursery School is a non-profit-making Salvation Army nursery school in the North District, founded in 1988 and offering a local curriculum. School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity

Mission: The school aims to provide quality holistic education and child care services so as to lay good foundation for children, provide opportunities for creative expression so children release their potentials, and promote child education strategies and methods.

Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, is child-centred and aligned with children's development, builds independence, confidence and self-care, and cultivates positive values and character. Learning is supported through project inquiry, music, movement, art and physical activities, experiments, discovery and STEAM activities, and bilingual English and Chinese experiences. Children's progress is assessed through continuous assessment and learning portfolios.

Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through social worker, counselling or referral services. It maintains close home-school partnership through parenting seminars, talks and workshops.
