SJS Causeway Bay Kindergarten is a non-profit-making Christian kindergarten in Wan Chai, founded in 1997 and offering a local curriculum. School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity

Mission: Guided by Christian values, the school aims to build confidence, independence and self-care, encourage healthy physical and emotional growth, and prepare children for lifelong learning and future growth.

Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, organizes learning around life-related themes, includes project-based inquiry, and cultivates positive values and character. Learning is supported through thematic teaching, project inquiry, play-based exploration, and storytelling and picture books. Children's progress is assessed through continuous assessment, learning portfolios, and parent-teacher communication.

Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through gradual adaptation or orientation activities for new children, Primary One transition preparation, mock activities or school visits, social worker, counselling or referral services, professional support for children with diverse learning or developmental needs, and individual observation, assessment and guidance. It maintains close home-school partnership through notices, handbooks, digital platforms and direct teacher contact, meetings, parent days and individual interviews, class observations, open days or school visits, parenting seminars, talks and workshops, and parent-child activities, outings and school events.
