School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity
Mission: The school aims to create an enjoyable learning environment for children and more importantly, we induce children's initiative and ability to learn, which lays a solid foundation for their life-long learning.
Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, organizes learning around life-related themes, supports holistic development, and cultivates positive values and character. Learning is supported through thematic teaching, play-based exploration, music, movement, art and physical activities, and experiments, discovery and STEAM activities. Children's progress is assessed through ongoing observation, learning portfolios, and progress reports.
Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through gradual adaptation or orientation activities for new children, Primary One transition preparation, mock activities or school visits, social worker, counselling or referral services, speech, occupational, physical or psychological support, and individual observation, assessment and guidance. It maintains close home-school partnership through parenting seminars, talks and workshops, parent-child activities, outings and school events, and parent volunteer teams, groups or associations.
