Mission: The school aims to provide children with a happy, enriching environment that caters to their development needs and abilities and where children are encouraged to participate in group learning, this triggers their curiosity and desire for knowledge, and helps them cultivate an interest in learning and good lifestyles, and in keeping with the school-running mission of the STFA, we seek to provide high quality pre-school education for children.

Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, supports holistic development, cultivates positive values and character, and incorporates music, arts and physical activities. Learning is supported through thematic teaching, project inquiry, group and small-group activities, and outdoor activities, visits and field trips. Children's progress is assessed through learning portfolios, progress reports, and parent-teacher communication.

Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through gradual adaptation or orientation activities for new children, Primary One transition preparation, mock activities or school visits, social worker, counselling or referral services, and enrichment, interest-class and life-wide learning opportunities. It maintains close home-school partnership through notices, handbooks, digital platforms and direct teacher contact, meetings, parent days and individual interviews, parenting seminars, talks and workshops, and parent-child activities, outings and school events.
