Kwok Man Vernacular Normal Anglo-Chinese Kindergarten is a non-profit-making kindergarten in the Islands District, founded in 2013 and offering a local curriculum. School Mission, Curriculum & Teaching Capacity

Mission: The school aims to support children's holistic development, encourage healthy physical and emotional growth, and cultivate appreciation of life, culture and the arts.

Curriculum: The kindergarten offers a local curriculum that follows the Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide, is child-centred and aligned with children's development, strengthens language development, and incorporates music, arts and physical activities. Learning is supported through play-based exploration and outdoor activities, visits and field trips. Children's progress is assessed through ongoing observation.

Support to Students: The kindergarten supports children through gradual adaptation or orientation activities for new children, social worker, counselling or referral services, professional support for children with diverse learning or developmental needs, enrichment, interest-class and life-wide learning opportunities, and a safe, caring and attentive learning environment. It maintains close home-school partnership through notices, handbooks, digital platforms and direct teacher contact, meetings, parent days and individual interviews, class observations, open days or school visits, parent-child activities, outings and school events, and parent volunteer teams, groups or associations.
