Chung Sing Benevolent Society Mrs. Aw Boon Haw Secondary School is one of Tuen Mun's older aided schools, with roots dating to 1947. Formerly Chung Sing Benevolent Society School, it later relocated from Kennedy Town to Tuen Mun. Guided by Be Modest, Be Courteous, Be Diligent and Be Prudent, the school emphasises values education, diversified activities and whole-person development.

Curriculum: Secondary education comprises three years of junior secondary and three years of senior secondary education leading to the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination.

Teaching Language Policy: Mother Tongue Instruction with emphasis on Bilingual and Trilingual Training:. For S.1 to S.6, the 'Chinese Language' subject offers separate classes for 'Putonghua', 'Cantonese,' and 'Non-Chinese Adaptation Course (GCE).'. The schoolimplements a 'Fine-tuning Language Instruction' arrangement where 'Mathematics' and 'Information and Communication Technology' are taught in separate groups of 'English' and 'Cantonese.'.

Secondary One Admission

The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System is Hong Kong's official mechanism for distributing subsidized Secondary One places to primary school graduates. The allocation operates in two distinct, consecutive phases. First, the Discretionary Places (DP) stage allows students to apply directly to individual schools based on academic and interview merits. Second, remaining places are funneled into the Central Allocation (CA) stage, which is subdivided into Part A (unrestricted, territory-wide choices) and Part B (restricted, district-based choices).
