Medium of Instruction & Curriculum
English is the primary Medium of Instruction (MOI).
Curriculum: Secondary education comprises three years of junior secondary and three years of senior secondary education leading to the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination.
Teaching Language Policy: Our School adopts English as the main medium of instruction for all junior students. Most academic subjects are taught in English in senior secondary levels and students are to sit the examination in HKDSE in English. Besides, designated classes and groups in each junior form have Chinese Language taught in Putonghua.
Secondary One Admission
The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System is Hong Kong's official mechanism for distributing subsidized Secondary One places to primary school graduates. The allocation operates in two distinct, consecutive phases. First, the Discretionary Places (DP) stage allows students to apply directly to individual schools based on academic and interview merits. Second, remaining places are funneled into the Central Allocation (CA) stage, which is subdivided into Part A (unrestricted, territory-wide choices) and Part B (restricted, district-based choices). School Fees
This is an aided school, the most common type of secondary school in Hong Kong. Aided schools account for approximately 76% of all secondary schools and receive government funding to provide free secondary education. No school fee is charged. By comparison, around 12% are DSS schools, 6% are government schools, and 5% are private schools. Only DSS and private schools generally charge school fees.

School Facilities
All classrooms are well equipped with visualizers, computers, projectors and computer nodes, together with an abundance of IT resources. The school has installed new electronic white boards and renewed other IT facilities in every classroom. The school has renovated the school hall, the court-yard, the library, the art room, the multi-media room, the performing arts centre, the De Xin Academy (Chinese Culture Centre) and Biotech Port. Apart from purchasing iPads for teaching, the school has also installed a high quality audio-visual system in the school hall so that students can use special effects in various performances. Teachers and students can enjoy school life in the beautiful and new environment. ″STEM Hub ″ was established for STEM education with the support of QEF.
