To enhance students' English language skills, students from all forms participate in English-medium Learning Extension Activities across all subjects and phonics is taught in class. The schoolalso provides plenty of opportunities for students to use English for purposeful communication both inside and outside the classroom through a wide range of activities, which include English assemblies, the Speech Festival, English song dedication and English speaking weeks. There is an English Self-learning Centre for students to improve their English performance through self-study.

Secondary One Admission

The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System is Hong Kong's official mechanism for distributing subsidized Secondary One places to primary school graduates. The allocation operates in two distinct, consecutive phases. First, the Discretionary Places (DP) stage allows students to apply directly to individual schools based on academic and interview merits. Second, remaining places are funneled into the Central Allocation (CA) stage, which is subdivided into Part A (unrestricted, territory-wide choices) and Part B (restricted, district-based choices). The table below summarises past years’ allocation figures, including DP places, Central Allocation Part A and Part B places, reserved places, and total places.
