聖保羅書院

Founded in 1851 by the Anglican Church, St. Paul's College is widely regarded as Hong Kong's oldest continuously operating school and one of the world's oldest Anglo-Chinese schools. Its founding mission was to offer Chinese youths a modern, liberal education grounded in Protestant and Evangelical Christian principles. The college combines a historic Bonham Road identity with a progressive outlook, preparing boys through academic study, values education, service and co-curricular participation.

Medium of Instruction & Curriculum

English is the primary Medium of Instruction (MOI).

Curriculum: The senior curriculum includes HKDSE and International Advanced Level pathways. Students study a broad junior curriculum, then take HKDSE core subjects and electives or choose the IAL curriculum introduced for senior form students.

Teaching Language Policy: English is the medium of instruction.

Secondary One Admission

As a Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) school that does not participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System, the school manages its Secondary One admissions independently. Parents should apply directly to the school and refer to its official website for application dates, admission criteria, required documents and interview arrangements. Applicants are not restricted by school net. Parents who accept an offer from the school will be required to complete the relevant confirmation procedures and give up any subsidised Secondary One place available through the SSPA System.

School Facilities

The newly inaugurated main entrance; the Gallant Ho Hall is equipped with large display walls. The Innovation Centre and the E-Learning Centre, fitted with MacBook Pro devices, movable desks and chairs and glass whiteboard walls, support group discussions and learning presentations. The Computer Rooms and Computer-Assisted Learning Centre are equipped with Chromebooks, MacBook Air and iPad Air devices, high-speed internet, interactive whiteboards and multimedia projectors. Facilities also include a landscaped recreational area, two acoustically designed music rooms and two fully equipped visual arts rooms; an indoor sports hall, fitness centre, the Tse Yu Chuen Indoor Swimming Pool and two basketball courts. A chapel shared by teachers and students; as well as the two-storey Wong Ming Him Hall, which houses meeting rooms, a history gallery and a drama/music rehearsal room, suitable for conferences and performances. The hall and the balcony are equipped with advanced sound systems and presentation equipment.
