Medium of Instruction & Curriculum
English is the primary Medium of Instruction (MOI).
Curriculum: Secondary education comprises three years of junior secondary and three years of senior secondary education leading to the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination.
Teaching Language Policy: In junior forms, a majority of students learn in English in nearly all subjects except Chinese Language, Chinese History, Putonghua, Citizenship, Economics and Society, Life and Society, Religious Education, Reading, Career Lessons and STEAM. In all junior forms, English is adopted as the medium of instruction in Mathematics, Science and Language across Curriculum for each level for catering students' needs. In senior forms, several subjects are continuously taught in English.
Secondary One Admission
The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System is Hong Kong's official mechanism for distributing subsidized Secondary One places to primary school graduates. The allocation operates in two distinct, consecutive phases. First, the Discretionary Places (DP) stage allows students to apply directly to individual schools based on academic and interview merits. Second, remaining places are funneled into the Central Allocation (CA) stage, which is subdivided into Part A (unrestricted, territory-wide choices) and Part B (restricted, district-based choices). The table below summarises past years’ allocation figures, including DP places, Central Allocation Part A and Part B places, reserved places, and total places.
| Year | DP | CA:A | CA:B | Resv | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2020 | 40 | 6 | 78 | 8 | 132 |
| 2021 | 40 | 6 | 78 | 8 | 132 |

School Fees
This is an aided school, the most common type of secondary school in Hong Kong. Aided schools account for approximately 76% of all secondary schools and receive government funding to provide free secondary education. No school fee is charged. By comparison, around 12% are DSS schools, 6% are government schools, and 5% are private schools. Only DSS and private schools generally charge school fees.

School Mission & Governance
1. To help students embrace Jesus’ teachings on love and justice and to groom students into individuals of integrity with moral, ethical and religious values. 2.
