Teaching Language Policy: English has been adopted as the medium of instruction for all subjects (except Chinese, Chinese History, Putonghua and Religious Studies). To enhance the foreign language-learning environment, there are three NETs at the school, and we launch the after-school one-on-one online oral practice programme, with external English, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish and French tutors as coaches.
Secondary One Admission
The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System is Hong Kong's official mechanism for distributing subsidized Secondary One places to primary school graduates. The allocation operates in two distinct, consecutive phases. First, the Discretionary Places (DP) stage allows students to apply directly to individual schools based on academic and interview merits. Second, remaining places are funneled into the Central Allocation (CA) stage, which is subdivided into Part A (unrestricted, territory-wide choices) and Part B (restricted, district-based choices). The table below summarises past years’ allocation figures, including DP places, Central Allocation Part A and Part B places, reserved places, and total places.
