Teaching Language Policy: Chinese is the medium of instruction in F.1 to F.3. Students are given many chances to develop and improve their English language skills. Secondary One Admission

The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System is Hong Kong's official mechanism for distributing subsidized Secondary One places to primary school graduates. The allocation operates in two distinct, consecutive phases. First, the Discretionary Places (DP) stage allows students to apply directly to individual schools based on academic and interview merits. Second, remaining places are funneled into the Central Allocation (CA) stage, which is subdivided into Part A (unrestricted, territory-wide choices) and Part B (restricted, district-based choices). The table below summarises past years’ allocation figures, including DP places, Central Allocation Part A and Part B places, reserved places, and total places.

School Mission & Governance

With the motto “Developing Morality and Encouraging Diligence“, the school is determined to nurture individuals pursuing academic excellence and developing the virtue of filial piety. We aim at promoting cultural integration and providing education to students of different ethnicities. Local Chinese students’ language ability and creativity are, therefore, much enhanced in such a diversified learning environment. Non-Chinese students can apply themselves more easily to their school life and to the Chinese society here in Hong Kong.
